The Council was established in 2005. The Council is the highest administrative decision-making body of the College and oversees major College matters.

The Council consists of 10 members, including 1 Chairman responsible for convening and presiding over the Council meetings.

The Council normally meets twice each academic year. When the Council is in recess, the Secretary is responsible for the daily administration of the Council, which is within the remit of the President and College Office.
